Two new research job opportunities!

1) A research job opportunity in the field of cancer immunotherapy!

The Center for the Study of Hematological and other Malignancies (CSHM, https://cshm.ac.cy/) in close association with Karaiskakio Foundation (https://karaiskakio.org.cy/), Nicosia, Cyprus, is looking to recruit a highly motivated researcher (with a PhD or Master’s with significant research experience) to work on a project investigating methods to improve adoptive T cell therapy of cancer. The selected candidate will join a team of experienced post-doctoral researchers led by Dr. Paul Costeas. The project involves a close collaboration with Dr. Philippos Demetriou (CSHM) and Dr. Triantafyllos Stylianopoulos (University of Cyprus.)

 

The successful candidate will utilise both in vitro and in vivo tools to investigate methods aiming to enhance adoptive T cell therapy in cancer mouse models.

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in Cellular Biology, Molecular or relevant field or a Master’s with extensive research experience in aforementioned relevant fields.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the field of immunology and/or cancer will be considered an advantage.
  • The successful candidate should be an independent thinker, with excellent communication, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.

2) A research job opportunity in transcriptomics!

The Center for the Study of Hematological and other Malignancies, CSHM (https://cshm.ac.cy/) in close association with Karaiskakio Foundation (https://karaiskakio.org.cy/), Nicosia, Cyprus, is looking to recruit a highly motivated researcher (with a PhD or Master’s with significant research experience) with experience in the field of transcriptomics. The selected candidate will join a team of experienced post-doctoral researchers led by Dr. Paul Costeas.

The selected candidate will work on project(s) where transcriptomics tools are used to address questions in cancer immunology.

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in Molecular, Cellular Biology or relevant field or a Master’s with extensive research experience in aforementioned relevant fields.
  • Knowledge and experience in transcriptomic tools and/or in silico analysis will be considered an advantage
  • The successful candidate should be an independent thinker, with excellent communication, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.

The Centre for the Study of Haematological and other Malignancies (CSHM) is a research institution based in Cyprus that was established with government support and funding from the Research Promotion Foundation.  Since its establishment in 2009, the CSHM has worked closely with the Karaiskakio Foundation towards establishing one of the most advanced integrated diagnostic centers in Europe.
